The Administer Targets screen allows an administrator to create a list of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can then be used on target goal types.
The Administer Targets screen has two tabs:
On the System Admin Console, click Talent > Administer Targets.
When initially setting up targets for your system, start with the KPI types. To create a new KPI type, toggle to the KPI Types tab and then click on the Add button.
Enter a title. This is what users and administrators will see in the KPI Type drop-down list that is displayed on Target Goal Types.
Enter a description, if desired.
The Active check box will be checked by default.
Click the Audience tab to map the KPI type to a specific group of employees, if desired. If you choose not to do this, the KPI type will be available to all users.
Click on the Save button.
Click the KPIs tab.
Click the Add button.
Enter a title, this is what users and administrators will see in the KPI drop-down list that is displayed on Target Goal Types.
Enter a description, if desired.
The Active check box will be checked by default.
If desired, select an associated KPI type. When a KPI type is selected, whenever a user selects this KPI, the KPI Type will automatically default to the associated type. The KPI type can also be left at “None”.
Click the Audience tab to map the KPI to a specific group of employees, if desired. If you choose not to do this, the KPI will be mapped by default to everyone in the organization.
Click on Save.
